Mindy J. Shreve founded POINT LEGAL in 2002 to offer the law firm and corporate communities a unique and valuable perspective to legal recruiting, placement and consulting services. Ms. Shreve and all POINT LEGAL consultants have achieved academic and professional success at the highest levels throughout their careers. POINT LEGAL consultants can provide sophisticated, practical knowledge because of their substantive legal experience in virtually all major practice areas and their extensive participation in managing, recruiting and training for several law firms and corporate law departments.

Ms. Shreve was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1979 and obtained her law degree magna cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. As POINT LEGAL’s President, she can draw upon almost forty years of commercial litigation experience involving several business segments and industries in all regions of the country. Ms. Shreve commenced her litigation career at Buchanan Ingersoll P.C. where she was elected a shareholder, served several years on the Recruiting Committee, chaired the summer associates’ program and was actively involved in the mentoring and training of associates. She subsequently accepted a position as a shareholder in the mid-size firm of Babst Calland Clements & Zomnir, P.C. in Pittsburgh where she continued her litigation practice and served on that firm’s Recruiting Committee.

Ms. Shreve was one of two equity partners who established the Pittsburgh branch office of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP in 1994, which enjoyed 15-fold growth during the succeeding seven years. In addition to maintaining an active litigation practice for several major corporations, Ms. Shreve served on Schnader’s firm-wide Evaluation Committee for partnership elevation. She also was significantly involved in assessing the “right fit” of all lateral hiring and merger opportunities for the Pittsburgh office including recruitment, negotiation of compensation and other employment terms, and integration of lawyers and practice groups who joined the firm. Thereafter, for approximately twenty years, Ms. Shreve continued her litigation career as Counsel at the firm of DeForest Koscelnik Yokitis & Berardinelli. Ms. Shreve has received Martindale-Hubbell’s Peer Review™ rating of AV Preeminent® which is the highest peer rating standard given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills and ethical standards by their peers.
