Mindy J. Shreve founded POINT LEGAL in 2002 to offer the law firm and corporate communities a unique and valuable perspective to legal recruiting, placement and consulting services. Ms. Shreve and all POINT LEGAL consultants have achieved academic and professional success at the highest levels throughout their careers. POINT LEGAL consultants can provide sophisticated, practical knowledge because of their substantive legal experience in virtually all major practice areas and their extensive participation in managing, recruiting and training for several law firms and corporate law departments.
Ms. Shreve was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1979 and obtained her law degree magna cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law in 1983. In addition to maintaining an active litigation practice for several major corporations, Ms. Shreve served on Schnader’s firm-wide Evaluation Committee for partnership elevation. She also was significantly involved in assessing the “right fit” of all lateral hiring and merger opportunities for the Pittsburgh office including recruitment, negotiation of compensation and other employment terms, and integration of lawyers and practice groups who joined the firm. Thereafter, for approximately twenty years, Ms. Shreve continued her litigation career as Counsel at the firm of DeForest Koscelnik Yokitis & Berardinelli.
